The 88R is a mass fiber fusion splicer with a series of features, such as “automatic wind-protector and tube-heater” and “easy sleeve positioning” for quicker splicing cycle as well as fewer operation steps. Also, the 88R equips “wireless communication function” which allows automatic cleaver blade rotation for CT50 when the splicer judges the blade is worn.
