After superannuating at the age of 58 from a Govt. of India PSU, where I had more than thirty-five years of experience in different fields of telecommunications, I wondered what to do next. Should I call it a day and enjoy my life at home by sitting idle? Will that really be enjoyable? Should I simply allow my experience to go to waste? Savitri Telecom gave me the opportunity to continue my life on a renewed path of enjoyment as a mentor and guide to all my colleagues and team members. Today, after five years of working at Savitri, I don’t feel like an aged person, but rather, I feel young enough with vitality to work alongside all my younger team members. I am truly enjoying this journey and feel like running around with everyone for many more years to come.

When I started my professional career as an HR with an event management organization, I was soon not ok with just doing the same “usual” work. It’s not that I did not like my job, but I wanted to diversify, I wanted to explore and I wanted to see an exciting journey with twists and turns. The thought of just doing the “regular stuff” never encouraged me. Soon the regular and mundane activities made me a “Deer in the headlights”. I decided that I should find an organization that matches my passion for diversity, provides avenues to become the “intrapreneur”, and gives me the freedom to contribute to the best of my potential. All of this got realized 9 years ago when I joined Savitri as Sr. HR Executive and from here on my dream journey began. Today, I am not just holding the designation of DGM- HR but I drive and define different organizational functions including people, process & technology. I started my professional journey with this organization with a small step as a Front Desk Executive and now i feel privileged to introduce myself as an independent, ambitious and strong minded Business Woman. This has been a long journey for me in Savitri Telecom Services. 16 years ago when I joined the organization I was quite raw and had very short experience. The organization was small and so was my responsibility. Gradually the organization grew and my bondage with the organization became stronger and stronger. This gave me a unique confidence which helped me to learn a lot. Today when I look back it becomes difficult to believe that a simple and average person like me has grown so much. Career growth is one thing which I achieved in the organization in the last 16 years is really unbelievable for me but more than this the organization has looked after me at all times when I needed any help in any affairs of my life. The organization provides ample opportunity to each and every one to learn and grow. Today as a Sr. Manager I fulfill my duty with full satisfaction and up to the expectations of the organization. I wish to serve the organization by giving my 100% and want to see it growing ever.
I joined SAVITRI in 2016 with an aspiration of learning new technologies to grow in a professional career by adopting the right attitude and merit.
